At last! Jeans that fit, thanks to Levi’s Curve ID collection…

Most women (87%) wish they could find jeans that fit better than the ones they own.Levi’s has listened to women everywhere and created a collection of jeans perfectly cut to fit curves! Their Curve ID fit system offers three custom models based on shape not size, so whatever your proportions, you’ll be able to find your perfect pair of jeans!60,000 ‘real’ women had their bodies scanned as part of Levi’s research undertaken all over the world. Take the quiz to find out!We sent roving reporter, Natalie, along to the launch of this pioneering new denim collection to put the theory to the test.Upon arrival I was whisked into a ‘denim studio’ and introduced to my friendly Curve Consultant, who instantly started sizing me up. I had (what looked like) a bootlace knotted around the smallest part of my waist and then two measurements were taken from my waist and hips. It’s the ratio between these measures that determines which curve you are and I was declared a ‘Demi’.The range is based on the idea that although two girls might have an identical waist measurement, differences in our hip:bum ratio and overall proportions mean we need a different 3D shape or ‘curve’.With ‘vanity sizing’ on the jeans, I was given a skinny indigo pair (above) in a size… 27 waist *splutters* which I was convinced would get stuck around, say, my knees but! Miraculously, I shoe-horned them on and they fitted PERFECTLY – just like a second-skin. They’re certainly the most flattering (and dare I say sexiest) pair of jeans I’ve ever worn – and the first pair that haven’t gaped around the waist, revealing next week’s laundry.
