Brian Atwood and Jones Apparel Group announced today a new footwear and accessory line called B Brian Atwood. According to Atwood, the new accessories collection will be inspired by the “East Village girls who have great style”.
The collection will feature shoes priced between $200 and $500 with an initial launch planned to commence in fall 2011. While that’s less expensive than the main line, this isn’t exactly affordable to the masses as B Brian Atwood is not a diffusion line but a compliment to the main line.
Tell me, are you excited about B Brian Atwood? I’m going to reserve judgment until I see the styles and quality of the shoes.

Not satisfied to be hidden away in the back of our closets until summer and no longer only paired with flared jeans and bohemian maxi dresses, the wedge has shed it’s hippy image and is masquerading as the new power shoe. We’ve been hearing whisperings about the kitten heel coming back for months, but to be honest I’ve never quite taken the rumours seriously. The style has been in exile for many years, and surely it time for the demi heel to claw its way back into fashion so soon after it was cast aside.
But proof has materialised over at Net-a-Porter in the most undeniable form imaginable: on the bottom of a Louboutin shoe. Yes, Christian himself has allowed himself to be distracted from his usual, more robust heels and has brought out a whole range of kitten styles, including this one that’s already sold out. What do you think?

If you haven’t noticed it yet (and thank you if you have), I haven’t posted much content lately. It’s not that I don’t like writing for this site, It’s just that I’ve been having a sort of, “What’s the point” moment and found it difficult to engage in much post writing.
