DVF on Fashion’s Night Out was a madhouse, a complete and total madhouse. My friends and I had a great time though, trying on scarves and sunglasses for a free photo print from HP. This staircase was mobbed, and DVF herself deejayed at one point! People were dancing everywhere.

I wore a champagne-colored silk DVF dress unintentionally and felt like a dork, wearing the band’s t-shirt to their concert. But ah well, at least I didn’t spill any champagne on it.
I don’t usually go in for animal print shoes, but I loved this red and blue cheetah platform pump.

Gone are the days of only thinking the maxi dress is a holiday staple, this summer well and truly saw the long and forgiving style in our wardrobes for all occasions. Gold is so Victoria Beckham made shoe history this week, when she became the only star we’re aware of to have shoes made to match the colour of her watch. Posh reportedly drafted in Brian Atwood to design a pair of seriously shiny heels that were the exact shade of her gold rolex. She’s been flashing them at New York Fashion Week ever since.
We wouldn’t want to ask how much the bespoke shoes would be to the likes of us, but the good news is you can get the gold look elsewhere for a very reasonable price. Gold is a great shade for autumn/winter footwear, as it’s so versatile: only really clashing with its old enemy, silver.

Jason Wu showed his collection on Friday Sept 10. I was quite impressed. So far we have seen a lot of menswear – profession-wear influence on the runway. Jason’s clothing reflected this trend. I would wear every piece. I love the colors. I love the cut and shape of the clothing. The shoes were work appropriate and didn’t seem too high.
